Tip bags & accessories
Our product range offers an extensive selection of cone bags in many different designs. Unprinted, printed, different sizes and different thicknesses. In addition to kebab cones, cones for sweets, almonds, snacks and much more, we also offer special chip cones with a dip corner made of special greaseproof material. The conical shape of the bag, which opens at the top, offers a special market and fairground flair. No other bag can be snacked and enjoyed "in the hand" like this. After eating, it can be folded or crumpled up in no time at all and disposed of in a space-saving and environmentally friendly way.
Our highlight: the chip cone with dip compartment
Our range includes various designs and sizes of printed and unprinted cones made of paper or sturdy cardboard. A special highlight is the chip cone with an integrated dip compartment for ketchup, mayonnaise or other dips.
Cardboard or paper?
You are probably asking yourself whether you want to use cardboard cones or paper cones. The stability of the material, the print quality and, last but not least, the price should play a role in your decision. But what are the advantages and disadvantages of both options?
Paper cones
The paper of approx. 40 g/m² is unwound from large paper rolls directly on the flexographic printing machine, printed, cut, folded, glued and bundled until the finished cones come out at the end of the machine. This means that all production steps are carried out by machine in a single step.
A clear advantage here is the low price, which results from the cheaper base paper and the simple production process. However, the disadvantages are the low stability due to the flexible and thin material, as well as the print quality, which is not comparable to offset printing.
Cardboard cones
Tapered cardboard bags with approx. 250 g/m² are produced from sheet formats that contain several panels. These are first printed using offset printing, then punched on a punching machine with a punching tool and then processed on a separate folding and gluing machine to produce the finished pointed bags. A separate machine pass is required for printing, die-cutting and folding/gluing.
Together with the higher raw material price, this is the reason for the almost 5-fold higher price compared to paper cones. However, the particularly stable material and the high-quality offset printing, with which images, shadows and gradients can also be reproduced to create a high-quality printed image, offer clear advantages.
