Chicken bags / keep warm bags
A crispy chicken - that's what Max and Moritz dreamed of in Wilhelm Busch's book. Who doesn't know the pranks of the bad boys? Lured by the delicious smell, they fish Widow Bolte's crispy roast poultry through the chimney straight out of the pan. Each of the boys runs off with two chickens and can barely grab the rich booty on their own. This would have been a classic case for our chicken bags. Because our keep-warm bags are ideal for packing delicious grilled chicken. The products are available from us in various designs and even with a Max and Moritz motif.
In a bag - optimum transportation, optimum heat retention
Choose between chicken bags for half chickens or whole chickens, as well as between unprinted keep-warm bags and printed chicken bags in various material qualities. The cheaper 2-ply chicken bags are made of 54 gram paper with a 15 my PE coating (HDPE) on the inside. The PE coating makes the chicken bag 100 percent greaseproof. The chicken bags made from the high-quality, greaseproof three-layer material consist of 50-gram paper (outside), 20-gram aluminum foil (middle) and 40-gram parchment paper on the inside. The 3-layer version has particularly good thermal properties so that the grilled chicken or other hot snacks stay warm for longer.
Not just for chicken
Also think of other greasy foods in the butcher's and butcher's shop, party service and catering sector. Whole pieces of ox or pork that are turned "from nose to tail" on a spit are popular at regional events or folk festivals. Knuckle of pork, meat loaf, roast pork and other grilled poultry cuts are also candidates for the keep-warm bag. Marinated grilled meat in particular has a higher fat and moisture content. Wrapped in normal paper or aluminum foil, it will soak through.
Criticism of aluminum for salty and acidic foods
In the case of pure aluminum foil, consumer advocates also complain that aluminum ions can be dissolved by salt and acids and pass into the food. Sheep's cheese or vegetables such as tomatoes are also often cited as critical foods in this context. It is therefore recommended as a precautionary measure to avoid using aluminum for packaging or as a grill base for food as far as possible. Packaging materials with a second plastic coating around the aluminum are safe.
