Bagasse & Woodfiber Packaging
With our range of bagasse packaging, we are following the trend and offering you environmentally friendly alternatives to plastic packaging. Bagasse is a natural by-product of sugar cane processing. When the sugar cane is rolled and pressed to extract sugar juice, sugar cane fibers are left over. These fibers are called bagasse. With the addition of water and natural binders, the bagasse is ground into a pulp and pressed into various shapes. The resulting stable material is of course completely food-safe, 100% biodegradable and suitable for hot, fatty or liquid dishes.
